Attention all drycleaners, laundromats, commercial and healthcare, hotel launderers, and allied traders. Do you have a vision for the future of textile care in Australia and New Zealand? Would you like to share it?
Please read the letter below, and consider whether you would like to make observations, contributions, to add to my entry in PTC: Book IV. If so, would you please forward the same by May 26th? Photographs are welcome.
Thank you, I appreciate your consideration
and CINET Liaison Officer for Australia and New Zealand
Dear Ms. Naylor,
Thank you for your interest in CINET and the pleasant conversation at the Clean Show. Because of your expertise in the textile care industry, we like to invite you to contribute to the new book of CINET in the series ‘The World of PTC’.
In the past few years CINET has established three books about the World of PTC (Professional Textile Care). The first one was titled ‘Safe & Sustainable Processing in PTC’. Volume two entails ‘Market Characteristics & Trends’. Because of the ongoing research and development in the sector, CINET has published before the Clean Show Volume 3 of the World of PTC, titled ‘Innovation & New Technologies.’
Volume 4 will focus on the added value professional textile care can offer to customers. ICT, online developments, innovations in textiles, logistics and novel service concepts influence the world and the PTC businesses. These developments will be described in the fourth volume in the book series The World of PTC ‘Innovations and New Service Concepts’. Also several innovative business cases will support the description of the innovations around us.
We kindly invite you to contribute to this book by writing an article about your expert vision on the (future of) logistics in Australia and the added value for the textile care industry and customers. Your contribution will cover around 4-5 pages of the book, which is around 2500 words. Once published you will be listed in the book as an expert in PTC. We might edit the article to fit in the book and create an easy to read publication.
To make the publication an easily readable and attractive book, we would like to ask you to send five pictures (high quality >300 dpi) to support the written text.
We look forward to the cooperation and would appreciate to receive the final text before June 1st 2015, so we can compile the book before July, 2015. Participation is free of charge, we would appreciate your presence at the formal presentation. The official introduction is scheduled for the Jet Expo in Paris and the TexCare Asia in Shanghai in November.
