TARA CLARK
Tara’s career in the dry cleaning industry has spanned ten years. With beginnings in the supply and service of machinery and the sale of consumables and detergent, Tara has hands on experience in a dry store, an activated store, and a small plTara Clarkant in both a perc and GreenEarth environment. Coupled with an extensive professional background in business development and marketing across a variety of industries, she now represents GreenEarth in Australasia.
Tara holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, teaching vocational courses in a number of subjects including Customer Service and presentation skills.
Tara speaks regularly at industry events, and those Drycleaners and launderers in Tasmania, South Australia, ACT and NSW who have had the pleasure of hearing her presentations would surely urge you to head to Melbourne in August.

 

TOM ROSE

James Peuster, THE ROUTE PRO, is one of the leading consultants in the Dry-Cleaning industry who

James enters his 14th year and has travelled to over 250 plants in the United States. James Peuster is very familiar with the Australian scene, having visited us several times since 2014, often by private arrangement. ANDY LIEN
Andy Lien was once a drycleaner in his own right. He received a B.S. degree in Finance from Minnesota State University in 2009 while working as the General Manager of Camelot Cleaners in Fargo, ND. At Camelot, he guided the eAndy Lienstablished, multi-location company into a new era by embracing technology such as bar coding of customer garments, switching to a modern POS system, and streamlining plant operations with updated equipment. The biggest change, however, was abandoning traditional perchloroethylene dry cleaning and becoming a GreenEarth Affiliate.
This switch gave Camelot a new identity and generated much goodwill in the community. In 2013, he joined the GreenEarth Cleaning team as the Operations Manager, helping other dry cleaners, both within the United States and abroad, improve their operations through his practical knowledge of technical issues and training expertise.
With a Global Perspective, Andy Lien is Worldwide Operations Manager for the company. You will be fortunate to hear his review of the newest equipment technologies, detergents and additives being developed as well as the world-wide regulations.

MARY SCALCO
The Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI) is the premier international trade association for garment care professioDLI_Mary_Scalconals, representing retail drycleaning facilities and is the world’s leading professional garment care organization.
Mary Scalco has been at the Institute coming up 30 years. From 2000 she served as Senior Vice President, and since 2012 she is the Executive Officer. Prior positions Mary has held with DLI include Director of Education and Director of Government Relations.
