The Annual Tassie Mini Conference is planned for the weekend of Saturday 1st – Sunday 2nd June in Hobart.

This is always a great event, sharing the hospitality of the locals and well attended from “the main land”.

Final details are still being organised but this is a heads up to save the date and take advantage of early flight arrangements.

Hobart is a tourist delight. Why not browse the Salamanca Market on Saturday morning, or give yourself a mini break and stay over either side on the conference?

Excellent plant and layout together with “state of the art” Laundromat next door.
Spotting Education with Howard Duffy – DIA Technical Officer
Howard has 43 years genuine experience, and specialises in Suede and Leather.
Money saving and quality improvement ideas, bring in your problem garments.
Includes techniques for inspection, spotting and cleaning wedding dresses.

Howard Duffy is out buying blood in preparation for his spotting course. He is collecting a number of different stains for his demonstration.  He has over 43 years drycleaning and training experience to share so you are able to get stains out ….. safely.

Wedding dresses can sometimes develop into a costly mistake, he will explain traps and techniques with these expensive items.

He has put a huge effort into this spotting segment to help you save money, improve quality and retain customers.

Bring along your most difficult garments for specific advice.

This will combine with the plant/laundromat tour of Status Drycleaners, state of the art layout.

This is so good we feel that staff should take advantage of a great opportunity, and offer a plant tour/spotting course Saturday afternoon for only $60.
6.00pm – Dinner and pre drinks at the magnificent Hadleys Orient Hotel, (Leadlight Room) – enjoy Tassie cuisine and friendship.

Sunday 2nd June:

The venue is the newly refurbished Wool Store

Once again this promises to be an informative and relaxing weekend, unique to Tasmania, well worth the time.
